Auction Co., operator of Korea's leading online shopping mall, said yesterday it has launched one of the country's largest fashion promotion events.The event running through May 31 features free delivery services on up to 100,000 fashion items and 50-percent discount coupons to 10,000 customers who have made purchases of over 10,000 won on five occasions.The 100,000 items representing goods from about 400 manufacturers cover apparel for men, women and children, as well as miscellaneous products and cosmetics, the Korean unit of U.S. auction giant eBay Inc. said.Auction said it will make a raffle draw for trips to Germany and Italy for two people during its biggest-ever fashion event.(sohjung@heraldm.com)2008.05.20

The 'Auction' is the one of the biggest auction online site in Korea. thet started 1998 and it's the first movementof online auction site in Korea. they have serviced 'mall in mall' system . it means individual store which existonline individual store in market named 'auction'.

-coupon marketing promotion

coupon marketing strategy is widely used even online. coupon marketing strategy seems to have various positve and negative points.
recently my cyworld mail box received auction discount coupon mail. this mail caught my interest and i swamed this market for 3hours and more. frankly speaking we doesn't use e-mail anymore. every person have a mobile phone and id from 'nate on' . The reason why i enter the e-mail box that is the coupon like this.

but it have many risk . coupon means discount but we also feel expensive when we purchanse without coupon. second negative point what i think it seems to be low quality market if they published coupon more and more . now i think 'acution' is the cheap price market with low quility product. but it sure is they have a high price product. certainly coupon marketing strategy have
strong and weakness point, but positive power overwhelming negative point . auction's powerful step will go on now and more over
